Kindness Never Hurts

Image
For Today's Post, we will be talking about the importance of respecting people. If you haven't read my last post there will be a link here .  I have experienced many ups and downs in my life. No one should have to face bullying. Unfortunately I have been bullied before by one of my close friends. It wasn't easy to face them at school. School has always been a place where I can be myself and express my feelings without people judging me. Since that day, I haven't been able to have the same opinion about school. I feel that I can't express myself without someone judging me. I believe that no person should ever feel this way about school. But, in reality, many people do feel this way. No one should be bullied. Ever. Bullies think that they have more power if they bully people, but they just can't accept the truth about themselves. Bullying is a serious problem. No one should ever have to go through it. You never know what people are going through. They might hav...

My Hardest Goodbye

Image
April 14, 2016. This was the hardest day of my life. Before I tell you what happened, lets go back about two days. On April 12, 2016 I got a call. It was from my mom. She told me that Jake was being airlifted to Children's Hospital. I was so confused. (Your brain can go to some scary places when you get a call like that.) I was 13. Jake was 16. He was like a brother to me. Someone I could share my secrets with, talk to anything about, and someone who would give me a shoulder to cry on. When I got home, I wanted to find out what had happened, and why he was going to Children's Hospital. I found out that he was weight lifting before school. He looked super pale and then...he had a seizure on the floor. They took him to St. Cloud Hospital immediately. Then they air- lifted him to Children's hospital. When he got to Children's, he went straight into surgery. He had a brain aneursym. His family had to make a big decision. They had to decided to take him of off lif...

Story Post

Best Friends. 3 Years. We had never met before that day. That day I met my best friend. Our parents worked together for several years, and they finally wanted us to meet. I was so nervous. I walked into the restaurant and when i saw you, I knew we were going to be great friends. I had never met anyone and in that same day because best friends. It was amazing.  It didn't feel real. You lived in South Dakota, and I lived in Minnesota. How could we be best friends if we lived 245.2 miles away? I really wanted to stay in touch, but I thought it would be too hard. I even drove 5 hours to come and surprise you. I really wanted to tell you about it, but I couldn't.  The plan didn't work as well as I would've liked, but you were still surprised. I was texting your dad when we got closer. You had just got home from practice, and he stalled you and tried to keep you in your room. Right when I got to your house your dad yelled at me to go down the stairs. I had one shoe off, a...

Reviewing a Polaroid Camera

Image
A polaroid camera is used to take pictures. Polaroid cameras have a cool film which pops out right away, and allows the pictures to be fully developed within an hour. I have a polaroid at home and I love it! The only thing I don't like about it is the expensive film. The Pros of a Polaroid Camera: you get a vintage/retro look  fun for candid photography different color backgrounds fun to use with friends batteries last a long time size and weight makes it easy to carry around easy to use The Cons of a Polaroid Camera: not the best quality film cost around $25 a pack you go through film quickly you have to wait for the picture some cameras don't have a front camera film/pictures are very small takes more time and skill to get a higher quality photo you have to experiment with the lighting waste a lot of film trying to master it Conclusion: Make sure that you have read all the points before making the f...
